Why former employees visit this page

Ever since hours were cut at the beginning of the year I knew something was up. As the months went by things got progressively worse and I decided that I needed to finally seek new employment and so I did. I left In October. I used to wonder why former employees would continue to participate in this forum and now I get it. It's a hard habit to break. I check this site every day looking for something new and now it's about watching this train finally crash and burn and it's so sad. It was once a great company to work for and I do believe that I've made some life long friends. It's just too bad that those in charge didn't take better care of their baby. Now they're desperate and scrambling. Everything they do now seems like a bribe to get people to shop and in the store. Dollar promos, giving away $5 to everyone who signs up for Welcome Rewards, 20-25%off entire purchases... I mean, STOP IT. It's just not good. Not wise when your company is already in trouble.

I was not the one who followed the ASM around. Should read "One", not "once". It was after my time but I knew the lady who did this.

I can only say I've been gone for awhile and the fools they hire in mgmt are one of the reasons why I left. Pandering sycophants not worth the time of day. Most have shown their colors since but hey, I knew they had it in em. Usually rectally. I stay on here because I don't want to see the common worker screwed over by this jo--t. I have fewer and fewer friends with the company with each passing week and it has nothing to do with my sarcastic personality. It is fewer hours, bad working conditions, etc. I have already called out nearly every clown who worked at 53 who screwed the pooch while on shift. Most were mgmt, some were ASMs, and a few were "leads" who didn't lead. Nothing previous employees did not do to them when they quit. Once followed around an asm for 30 minutes all around the huge store and cussed her out. Not smart, but effective. The public does not know how much cr-p we have put up with from their kind, while they, say, watch po-n on the web in the office and complain about not getting laid. It is one very weird company and deserves what it gets. YOU do not deserve that.
