No. It's lazy click-bait reporting and hysterics.

The reported email gave the employees three months of non-work employment and benefits with severance to be disclosed later. They haven't even been laid off yet, they've simply been notified of it. Three. Months. Ahead.

Go ahead read it yourself. One of the lawsuits was filed before the emails were even sent.
