41,000 seasonal Jobs?

Macys is hiring 41,000 seasonal Jobs down from 150,000 from prior years.. I think a 2nd grader can see this company is toast and is only going down

I think your info is wrong. Walmart hired 150,000 last year and Macys hired 76,000 not 150,000. what ever the numbers are the poster is pointing out year after year its going down much like its former rivals sears, Kmart , lord and taylor etc

They'll just hire brain-dead zoomers to replace you. If they havent buckled yet with the ISM pushback they won't now.

They don't need to hire as many people because they pushed merchandisers and some BOH to the floor. Those people will be getting the same cr---y shifts. I really hate Christmas anyway so working until 11 and 12 o'clock will really do wonders for me. I refuse to come in or stay when the weather gets bad. The days of me driving to work in snow and ice especially at night are over. I don't live close to my store and not risking my life to wait on the id--ts that won't go home when the roads get horrible.

Also don't forget less people to do inventory on January. Eventually the full time colleagues will be doing more work, now that Toy's R Us is sending more toys this holiday season. Be prepare folks! This inventory is going to be a nightmare.

From what I’ve seen this is correct that less people are being hired for seasonal this year across the board. Less people to layoff early next year could be part of the reason.

You’re still wrong. Google it. And if your point is seasonal hiring is less, all companies are hiring less.
