Customers have become brutal and our managers are letting them get away with it. Whatever they do, however they abuse us, it's our fault in the end. Why is this behavior condoned? A proper manager would stand behind his or her employees and a proper company would reward such behavior. Not at Macy's, though.

Sorry colleagues we are just as worn down and beat down as you. We don’t wanna argue with anyone and we don’t want to be lectured of why we didn’t just “take care of the customer” in the first place.
Word to the wise, save yourself the trauma drama heartache and hassle and do what they want.
After seeing this post I'll never shop at Macy's again.
This company has no backbone that’s why. The customer is always right doesn’t mean the customer can act like a ja----s and abuse employees especially when it’s something that is not their fault. Management needs to stop kissing so much bu-t and realize when they need to step in and give support. I don’t see many stepping up anymore in Macys or a lot of other retail organizations. Even other non retail companies I see this as well including mine.
