I interviewed with GA and received an offer… I thought they were joking when the offer was given…. Why does GA pay so low? Why is salary lower than industry standards? I read mixed reviews on Glassdoor with a lot of people saying GA is known for paying below industry and some people say great pay and benefits…. Can someone share if GA just pays low or if maybe hey just gave me a low ball offer???

GA is notorious for paying below industry standards. But in GAs defense hey have to pay below industry standards bc none of the contracts they are awarded are leading edge. GA use to brag about paying below industry standards bc they never layoff but that isn’t true! GA is now layoff U!
It really depends. Pay bands are very wide for any given job code and align with DCMA/industry standards. But yes their goal is to get you in as cheaply as possible
