I was just offered a position in this company and the pay is well, might even be able to do overtime.
Is this a safe company to work for? Any feedback from current technicians?
The recruiter and the manager sound very friendly to there's that.

A year ago the CEO of Sears Home Services was posting a lot of nonsense about the fabulous success of the company. "The future is more than bright; it is burning hot." Yeah kind of like the feeling close to a dumpster fire. He's since left the company for greener pastures after less than two years on the job.
Prospective employees should avoid the situation like the plague.
Hey Bernard,
You’ll try very hard and you’ll fail
So you’ll receive coaching:
To lie cheat and steal.
If your sales don’t improve
You’ll be fired
if your sales do improve
you’ll be fired-
for lying cheating and stealing
Welcome to the Team
It’s the secret to Sears’ success
I currently work at SHS as an In-Home tech and we are doing great. The morale is high and our members love us. Welcome aboard!
Jump on it! Over the last 10+ years the company has surgically removed 160,000 underperforming employees and 4,000+ underperforming locations. Ignore all those unreliable, negative Glassdoor and Indeed reviews. They were all left be associates who wanted to be part of the transformation but we’re left out.
‘Members’ suffer for months and years waiting for service and/or replacement
The pressure to sell fraudulent warranties is unbearable…
Welcome aboard !!!
It's a proven fact that the company cares very little about its employees, but if you need the work take it...........just don't make any plans on being there for very long. Just because they sound friendly means nothing. Everyone is friendly until they sc--w you over.
Agree with the post about zoom layoff, you should check it out before taking the job.
Very safe. Ignore the fact that 98% of stores have been closed and 96% of employees are gone. Facts that are just scurvy little spiders in your new endeavor!
Check glass door & indeed for reviews.
There was a video on reddit where the employee was laid off over zoom after completing training. YMMV tho!
