Approximately 350 people got laid off. Whole manager groups, none of the middle management seen it coming.

I'm an IT Billing Analyst (well, formerly now, I guess). Anyone else remember how the reorganization wasn't going to result in liquidating jobs/roles en masse?
It's incredible that in less than an hour all access to everything was eliminated but it took 8 months to get a functioning test ID account in certain lower development environments.
I'm sure Corporate will pat themselves on the back for saving the company money here.
Per senior management, a little more than 400 laid off across IT today. This does not include the people let go earlier this week. Additional cuts will likely be made in the future. Analyst positions will be reduced even further.
