Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Despicable way to treat employees

There are many employees who were hired remotely pre-pandemic and have worked at Citrix successfully. And, there are employees that were given permission by their senior leaders to move and officially work remotely.

Exactly! Some people will be affected by this disproportionally. I agree this is an attempt to get rid of them without paying them severance. Whoever said that, I agree 100%. Despicable way to treat employees.

Vista wants to get rid of Citrix. Nobody has a future here. Seriously, everyone needs to start planning for another job. This isn't the place to be. Even if they wanted to keep Citrix, you don't want to work for Krause. See if you can hang on for a severance package, unless you are lucky enough to get a new job right away.

Those CIOs are only clinging to Citrix until they swap it out with AVD or more likely some form of a modern security solution. They hate the Citrix tax. Especially when they discover all of the unused on prem licenses!

As one of many examples, look for Island.io to do a nice cleanup job on all of those good old XenApp browser sessions.

You said, "Citrix's new management is a laughing stock among our competitors."

Imagine what it's like to be a customer CIO who still has no action plan to replace Citrix. Now that's laughable, for sure, if you're a competitor of those lethargic CIOs.

Citrix's new management is a laughing stock among our competitors. If we were employee own and could get rid of most of the managers (especially those hire in the last two years), we'd be unstoppable.
