Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

November 18

it is simple 23th December is the last working day for those laid off .... work back a max 5 weeks (some countries require 5 weeks notice for older employees), so based on that 18th November will be the last day of layoffs for 2022!!!!

I think this poster hit the nail on the head. Some of us will be lucky to learn right away what our fate will be, some will find out throughout this and part of next month, but it should all be clear by November 18.

In California if more then 50 employees are let it go it is law that a WARN Act notification has to be submitted 60 days prior to last day.

VCIP is prorated, you get the percentage of the year you worked no matter when you leave/get laid off/get fired.

Conveniently short of the requirement to be an employee on December 31st to receive the VCIP you've worked hard for all year.

Is this poster thinking that the company is closed the last week of the year? TK said that's cancelled.

Also, in U.S., there is no requirement for notice. You can be let go and escorted right out the door.

TK said that everyone would know by the end of November, anyway.

Why would you think December 23 is the last working day - whatever that even means? They can lay people off any day of the year, although I expect major numbers to occur at US payroll timings. That just makes it easier for benefits and everything.
