Over the last couple of months lots of companies have announced paying a one-off bonus to employees or giving an inflation matching salary increase, e.g shell in the link

Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful but in comparison to what's been posted about Shell, Total and OXY, 4% is just sad... especially having had an outstanding year..
4% not great but wasn’t expecting anything!
Total has given all employees 1 month pay as bonus.
OXY is giving all employees a 15K bonus.
Shell gave everyone an 8% bonus.
