There is a big gap in trust between employees and management here, going in both directions. It's terrible when that happens, makes an awful work atmosphere. I think there are only a few lucky ones here who can really trust their manager?

totally agree...however, there are a few that "like" their lead/supervisor/manager...and more than that...they offer them presents, fancy dinners, etc...so yeah, of course they "like each other"...
HR should change the hiring style...and no longer accept internal recommendations...
Everything is fine, 20% share price declines are just short term. Savvy in-house developed leadership knows what they are doing, minor share issuance is normal. CGL should make some money and minor cost overruns are normal for this type of project. Oil pipelines are bad for ESG so selling them to build solar panel farms is the right strategy, reliable cash flows for 30 years are overrated. Hydrogen! $5-50 billion dollar capital program depending who you talk to. From the rock solid middle management up, this company has a bright future, layoffs??? More like ‘We’re Hiring’! Every Wednesday and Friday off, “WFH”, “Dress For Your Day”!
No trust to managers. They are selfish and only care about their pockets. Keep your heads down, do the job and you may get lucky. We also don’t get good people from outside. It’s all “ who you know” thing
It’s like they purposely handpick the biggest rats, snakes and weasels for management. What a deplorable, slimy, unlikeable bunch. Maybe 1 out of 10 is a good person and actual leader. Watching this once great company rot from dysfunction from within is sad.
