Does anyone knows if there will be layoffs of SE's....

A friend tells me an entire Sales Org under NIck is going away later this month.
If you look at SE productivity (how many hours spent on direct revenue generating in Salesforce) you’d likely see that there could be SE’s let go (it’s happened before). Especially if they end up consolidating territories/accounts and re-mapping reps. There are likely more than a few SE’s with a decent amount of idle time across the company. I mean there’s a lot of SaaS companies that leverage a pooled SE model for all but the largest strategic named accounts. Also several layers of SE management currently - that seems unnecessary and prime for cuts, flattening the SE org also.
Maybe some specialists, most of the time the SE's are managers/trainers because actual Sales Managers at Citrix is sub par. So if they go, there goes sales.
Yes as the legacy software venture will not need SE's for renewals and milking the dead cow.
They did it last time.
Lets hope not. SEs are crucial!
Certainly
