The stock was at .10 earlier this week, today the stock market was down, yet Sears is up to .18.
Someone is buying up the stock

Sears Holdings stock is already delisted. That happened 4 years ago. The bankruptcy court has to nullify the stock and declare the company gone. Then you are holding stock that is worthless.

People are selling and buying the stock. Since trading on any exchange is no longer allowed, its all direct trades.

If I have a piece of paper saying the Martians are coming and I offer to sell it to you for 10 bucks and then you buy it from me, the best question is "why did that person want to part with his 10 bucks?"
