Thread regarding easyhome Ltd. layoffs

As a SM this is the 4th time in the last 6 years I've had to layoff a senior associate. This time it was my receiving lead, which is the last person except myself that is able to do receiving at the level it needs to be done. Optimal staffing they kept saying on the call yesterday. Apparently optimal staffing is a SM, 2 FT Sups, and 1 PT Sup(coming soon to all Small volume stores) and a bunch of high school kids because we pay sh-t. It's quite amazing how one person f'd up the company so bad in 2.5 years and this is what's left now. BBB has 6 months max with how much cash we are burning each day. He-l I have a water fountain that has been broke for 6 months and it still has not been replaced, which never will be. They are going to hype up the loan, but after we pay vendors there will be by my estimation of around $50-70k per store for new merchandise, that's about 4 average size trucks. Shelves are bare and we are flexing closets in bath, bedding in pillow and sheets. The top gets golden parachutes and the rest gets sh-t. Bravo BBB, Bravo, Job Well done. My heart goes out to all the associates who have been working so hard to keep the stores running and especially to the people who were laid off.
