Generac has had more "quiet" layoffs recently, including a number of VP's. All told they are at a total of at least 1,800 layoffs since September 2023. The company is poorly run, bloated (excessively) in the executive level and hardly any of the newly hired VP's (hilarious that they added more dead weight) even show up to the office. With the new Presidential administration's move away from money losing, "green energy" Generac is poised for another huge layoffs by the second quarter. No wonder their parking lot looks so empty these days. The executives are devoid of strategic thinking! R.I.P. "its not a power move, its a d-mb move" Generac. Hilarious!

P.S. Commercial, Residential and Industrial are way off their forecasted numbers and there will probably be another massive layoff depending on the quarter results on August 07, 2024. Bad morale, poorly run, poorly staffed HR.....its a mess at Generac!
More layoffs at Generac Corporate this week! The week of June 3rd, 2024 more employees were laid of from Generac's Corporate office in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The company won't have to disclose this until next year on its SEC filing. The company is poorly run, and the remaining employees are on edge, stressed out. Last year and into this year the company reduced its workforce by 900, and has added hundreds more in layoffs. I cannot think of a more poorly run company in Wisconsin.

They laid off 100+ people today at the Jefferson plant. Without any warning. They let go of great and law abiding employees and kept employees that are in prison (dr-g dealers and s-x offenders) Pretty sad.
I got out of generac before I lost my vested funds after 5yrs there management took benefits and a week's vacation from me also . Very messed up
The layoffs on Trenton is true..us they are firing people for minor reasons..looks bad in here
The plants in WI are no longer allowing OT. Also if someone is fired or quits, the position is not filled just left open. Looks like shedding payroll as fast as possible
This is true. I was there from day 1, promised a bright future and promising career by Steve Andrejack during my interview back in May 202. I was employed by Michelin and content but got lured in with a great salary. I was promoted to supervisor in June 2022 and was laid off on August 29th with no warning. Very bad business!!
Word around the shop is this is true.
