March 1 closing price was $115.91.
If closing stock price on September 1 is < $115.91, ESPP will be suspended.
Closing price at August 31, 2022 was $116.03, down $1.74 on the previous day.
If it drops by another $0.12 tomorrow, thats it for the ESPP.

No coincidence!
You need to thanks us of Broadcom that we always bring good financial results contrary to you!
I make 2X in revenue and 6X in net earnings with half of your employees and without any marketing!
But don't worry you will be soon like me!
So, stock is back up today. Seems a coincidence...
You should be grateful to me!
VMware stocks are trash!
They were trash before me and after, they always go down.
And do you really think this is the only benefit I will take from you?ahahaha.
Today ESPP tomorrow EPIC days and take1 programs! In 6 months WFH and in one year Chinese will be the official language!
Well, I guess that is a mini pay raise for us all. Money comes to us instead of the the "bank" where vmw keeps it for 6 months before buying the shares.
VMware ESPP is over. This was the last one.
VMware Explore is over. This was the last one.
Layoff.com is the best place to go for financial advice!
Hock will be celebrating, saving up few K per employee!
Bye Bye ESPP, it's been emotional.
Hypothetically how would the below work? Let's say I had 20 shares...
"Under the terms of the agreement, which has been unanimously approved by the boards of directors of both companies, VMware shareholders will elect to receive either $142.50 in cash or 0.2520 shares of Broadcom common stock for each VMware share. The shareholder election will be subject to proration, resulting in approximately 50% of VMware's shares being exchanged for cash consideration and 50% being exchanged for Broadcom common stock. Based on the closing price of Broadcom common stock on May 25, 2022, the total $138.23 per-share consideration represents a 44% premium to the closing price of VMware common stock on May 20, 2022, the last trading day prior to media speculation regarding a potential transaction, and a 32% premium to VMware's unaffected 30-day volume weighted average price (VWAP)."

Yep... markets opened very bad today... very difficult we will keep 116!
My espp did purchase. An extra 2200 USD will help after the layoff!
So what? It is actually an embarrassing scam that just because you work for the company you can get a significant discount on buying stock.
If schemes likes this make it to the common man, just imagine the schemes as the level of C-suite and the financial engineering done at the upper echelons of private equity - cough - Silver Lake.
So basically; check your moral compass, but line your pocket since this is apparently the American Way!
incidentally they didn't do my 8/31 purchase today. anyone else?
