This has become a place where people can just waste their talent. I believe that the company no longer has many options when it comes to new hires, because almost no one wants to work here anymore, but the lack of skills of new hires is really worrying. Do you too agree that most newbies not so long ago would not be able to get a job here at all? At the same time, skilled ones are motivated to look for work elsewhere.

Got that correct. Back in the day you had to spend the day being tested. There be 10 to 15 people for one or 2 jobs. If you got hired and didn’t pick it up in first 90 days you were gone. Now pass dr-g test your in. Jobs posted since last November still not filled. Use to want to work for phone company. Now can make same money and less stress working in a factory. Fiber is the future but frontier to late in the game. Will never win back the customers from poor service for the past 5 years. Will need to rename like charter did went from
