I've seen all kinds of sessions with 10 people in a room for 200.
Hi @1lwf+1itmknzU, welcome to the thread and thank you for your contribution.
Now, kindly fu-k off.
Thanks again
You guys are seriously pathetic. Coming on here and whining and harshly criticizing the hard work that many people put into this. Its just a damned name. Get over it. Most of you will be losing your jobs anyway so why does it matter? Maybe YOU should have worked harder. Coming here and griping does not one damned thing except make you look like as-----s.
So grow up.
Genuinely sad to see what VMWorld has become. It used to be good, now it's like a wake.
Raghu does not have the personality or ability to present at this.
CMO role is a joke, and not just at VMW. CMO's focus on placing lipstick on pigs. Most CMO know nothing about product, and many have limited real product marketing expertise.
I am speechless - rebranding - after years of using vRA/vROPS- getting customers to use that branding/lexicon. Even the web page links say - formerly vRealize Automation. D-mb. I hope that whole team gets sacked Day1.
Explore really is a WWKO in disguise this year....
Dear Marketing, in the new world we talk to our customers about outcomes and solving business challenges.
Our customers don’t give a fu-k what our actual products are called, and if you have been on literally any of our internal trainings on how to sell to c-level, referencing a product is a no no.
Rather than renaming suites of software focus on real world outcomes, such as cost reduction, saving peoples lives, saving the planet, transforming the modern workplace…
I bet most attendance is employees/partners and not actual customers.
That new CMO seems to be on par with Ragoo in terms of authenticity and energy. At least they're consistent...
"Hey, guys. Let's rename vRealize after a hotel in the city where we should have been hosting this conference all along!"
marketing had to do something the attendance is so bad it like a mini VMUG event
This is a sales presenting to Hock, lmao.
They can't fire us, we just rebranded the product!
