I don't think all of Tanzu is "gone" I think some of Tanzu will be gone though. We went through and named everything Tanzu including wavefront. I suspect stuff like that will stay.

Same goes for Aria. It's simply a fight for survival. Bundling lots of products together in an attempt to tell that there is a cohesive story. The belief is that there is protection and survival to individual product teams when there as a larger Aria group... too bad Hoc is no fool.

This year's Explore has nothing to do with customers. It's a private presentation for Hoc telling him which orgs he must keep. The fact that they have to sell Tanzu to him tells the story.
