Aker, Subsea7, SLB are looking ahead with optimism and dynamism. They are winners. Theres no way you'll get a job there if you have BH on your CV. They don't want losers like aberdeen drilling dept re frac job run-off and shambolic management. Slb leading the way as always.

Aker, Subsea7 and SLB joiing forces - theyll have a wider offering, better tech, better service. All BH can do is race to the bottom and become a discounter. Jump ship, join them when you can - thats where the long term $$ are.
Don't see anything wrong with a 29% pay cut you'll still be on £12-15k a yr which is more than a pensioner makes. If I was BH, with all the mess created by the drilling dept, I would go for 50% cut take it or leave it.
