I'm hearing people being locked out of their computers today 29th. I guess that's just more of leadership's cluelessness.

Happened to me today and I get awkward responses when I asked about this "IT issue."
At least a few people also got weird emails from the hr system about changes to their profile or something. Thanks 2U, way to be subtle!
It's most likely an error in handling accounts. They've been told who to cut and instead of preparing, cut a few prematurely.

While I wouldn't find this surprising by any means, this probably isn't true. How else will they facilitate conversations around severance or the paperwork you typically sign when being let go? I wouldn't be surprised if it happened shortly after, but I don't think that will be the way people learn their fate ...
Then again, I've lost all faith in leadership so idk
