Layoffs will increase quite a bit in Aug/Sept. Chip and his team are pressuring for more names. You're performance is being watched, particularly those working remotely.

Bumping this as it hit the target. This was back in August and 100% accurate.
Bumping this up if it’s the same SVP.

I sure hope 2U's actual SVPs know the difference between you're and your
We don't need a troll to tell us what we already know about more layoffs coming in September and October. What next, they're likely to happen on a Tuesday? Not helpful.
- HA!
I’ve heard kpis are being reviewed against those who wfh more to see who might be blowing off work…
The other post is probably not in the know. My teams are looking at a slew of WFH metrics in deciding who we propose for layoffs.
This isn’t actually an SVP. They are a troll.
- You are not being monitored remotely (but of course they can see your KPIs)
- You are not more at risk if remote. Too many remote employees now to even consider that.
Any insight into if they monitor what we do on our computers or how long we are logged in for? I’m not worried about it personally, but I do wonder if they are monitoring remote employees more “closely” than they originally led on. A huge chunk of us became remote when they decided to closed the other offices, and a part of my worries that was a strategy to get more folks on the chopping block.
I care! I'm not sure if this person is really in the know, but if s/he is legit a BIG thank you!
...and who cares
