Another bright idea brought from the WPX acquisition. Bitcoin mining has been going on in the north for years. So enjoy this win, but don’t give credit to those posers in IT, this had NOTHING to do with them.

The consortium has nothing to do with Bitcoin mining.
There an article about Devon joining a blockchain consortium. But wpx had been using this technology long before Devon thought of it. So joining the consortium is a direct result of the acquisition and only possible due to the foresight of the wpx officials.
