"Starbucks has a problem," Rachel Demarest Gold, an employer-side attorney at Abrams Fensterman, LLP, told Yahoo Finance in a phone interview. "By the time a workforce gets to the point where it's in an election for union representation, the company already has a problem and probably has had a problem for a long time with its employees because satisfied workers don't turn to unions."

The problem is Marvin. He got fired from Depot and is he-l bent to get even. He follows their plays to the number and is still getting beat. Oh well, maybe he or the board should figure that out. He is a conniving piece of cr-p. He and his cronies lie to us and the shareholders. He hides behind the weather like a wimp. Small Hands should have been fired, but racism seems to be a culture at Lowe's. HR and IT suck too. The caliber of new employees is a joke. Glad I am quitting Friday. I will never go into a Lowe's store again......frigging cesspool.

That's what you get when you burn your employees out. That should be expected when you lie to employees and act like you are their advocate. All he does is look out for stock holders. Lowe's is getting something for that $55 million. They didn't do it out of kindness for our hard work. If Lowe's actually paid worth a damn and had decent management, they wouldn't have to worry about retention. Throwing occasional breadcrumbs won't do it.
