When 5G was first announced I remember they spend so much on marketing, the best network ever ! Now that’s it’s out we have seen more problems than ever before . We get daily returns on these 5G routers that don’t work at home, people were promised 100mbs- 200mbs download speeds and are only getting 20mbs ??? What is this 2003 DSL SPEEDS? 5G is a joke.. don’t get me started on the 5g daily complaints that we get on their cellphones . Remember the days when Vzw would be proud of their network, now they just half a-s everything! Such a shame the best cellphone company now a washdown mediocre cellphone company..

What are the going to do about all of this ? I can’t believe the number of complaints that the retail stores field every day. I can only imagine what goes on to customers calling into CS. Can you imagine if Verizon has a poor 3rd quarter ? Oh wait that’s already in the making.

Read this in hindsight. The board was hoodwinked by a charlatan. "4th industrial revolution" from fast network connectivity? What were they thinking.
We were the number one company for a long time because we didn't outsource IT, tech support, customer service etc... and because 90 percent of our stores were corporately owned. Plus, they paid us welI and valued tenured employees. That's all changed. There are numerous other bad business decisions like Hans, Yahoo, Go90 etc...that added to Verizons downfall but outsourcing/vendors were the biggest mistakes. I hate to break it to you but not even 5G could save us after that.
