In EUrope, yes you will be paid for accrued vacations days that you have not taken. However, it will be taxed as part of your severance.
So for example, if you carry over 5 days into 2023, you don’t take a vacation day and are left go in feb. Then you will be paid and pay tax for the 5 days (incl any accrued days for Jan and Feb).
If you get paid out on holiday you get taxed on it I think
Depends what geo you are and if non- exempt. Best to go to the benefits website and check with local laws.

what accured PTOs ? It unlimited PTOs here so nothing gets accured
