I heard that qualcomm is going to enter server market, and it acquired a startup founded by ex-Apple employees, wow, what’s going on ?

I think adding Q before any product proved to be unlucky for Qualcomm. Other products without prefix Q are successful though.

Apple sells products! Apple 🍏 invents new products that sell! Qualcomm hasn’t invented anything new in over 20 years that sells! So history tells us someone indeed is going to win this race!

'whats going in'?: Payback. Apple hiring ex-qualcomm engineers to build a modem. Went to the extent of creating an office in San Diego to poach! Qualcomm using ex-apple engineers to build server cpu. Nothing wrong with either! Engineers win.

At one point, QCOM had produced a 24 core ARM-based processor intended for the server market.

Was ki---d off in 2018. Not sure why.

Qualcomm has entered many markets! QTV, tried to start their own operating system with monzilla, use to be in email, Marisol was going to be the color version of a kindle, Q health, and too many others to count! It’s good to hear Qualcomm is still swinging! It sad to say that everything they have touched has failed!
