First off let's be honest. The coronavirus SAVED us. If you think our move to go public wasn't in large part due to the unsustainable rona bump in sales due to the fact we were one of the few stores to remain open and all that stimulus, student loan pay pause and eviction bans you are fooling yourself. We were on the brink pre 2020 imo. Feel free to tell me why not. I feel like in about 2 years we will be back down where we started. I hope that isn't the case, but I can't shake the feeling of impending doom. Thoughts?

Well it's back to the glory days of opening new stores, that will be a convenient way to spin all the money we will end up hemorrhaging when our covid sales bubble pops. Such hubris to think we aren't going to return to pre covid sales levels and fast. Here's hoping that whole damn ship doesn't capsize when the waves hit.
Saved some sure, but some of us lost our jobs at Academy due to covid.
