If there are layoffs later in the year there will probably be no severance. DCPs plan may not have been as good but it allowed for severance if a move was required. P66 doesn’t. P66 could decide in Dec to move my job from CO to TX after all. If they offer me relocation but I say no because my wife’s job is here, then no job and no severance.

The notifications have begun. It was stated that 85% of the company has no change in their jobs. The rest will be any number of options.

Getting the popcorn ready. If there are any layoffs it will be in the latter part of 2023 after the merger deal is expected to close in the second quarter of this year. Knowing DCP and their history of layoffs, targeted employees will be locked out of IT systems as soon as the ink dries. What a sh-t company. Seems their only redeeming quality was their NGL pipeline operations.

DCPs severance policy gives 15 weeks for a 10 yr person, P66 is giving 10 yrs of service 40 weeks. DCP max is only 26 weeks. To the “Victor” go the spoils?
