It doesn’t matter how many podcasts you go on bro, until you treat the cancer in your org, your failure will always be the worst kept secret in OKC.

I see it every day. IT’s management of the data is way out of their depth. They have reached the limits of their expertise.
Devon is not any different than the usual North American E&P over the past 10 yrs. Limited talent and introspection at the top led to overspending and overpromising which eventually led to wreckless layoffs. The "great crew change" resulted in many experienced technical people being shown the door. Now the "shale-ennials" who have only worked a handful of basins and one type of play run the show. You can tell their inexperience as soon as there is a challenge outside their limited breadth and depth.
Apparently they’ll let ANYONE on their show. What a joke we are. “We’re so focused on getting technology to the field.” Sure you are. As long as it’s DBBU, they take your “solution” and like it, and it serves to build your empire.

What podcast is this? Sounds like it’s worth a listen for all the enlightenment by our leaders.
Stitching technology is my passion. I also like crochet and weaving. Low orbit satellites for the internets.
I saw that! It’s hilarious how much we preach what we DON’T practice.
Oh you mean the person that inserts themselves into every project so she can stonewall and slowly ki-l it? Never heard of her.
