Shell Oil recently announced it was giving all 82,000 employees a bonus of 8% of their salary because of their record profits. Has anyone heard about Phillips 66 possibly doing the same thing?

These people act like they’re doing their employees a favor by LETTING them work there.
At one time, if a person submitted a cost savings of substantial value to the company, the company would give them a percentage of the cost savings. They decided that was too good of a deal so they changed it taking everyone involved to lunch. And now, they barely want to say thanks and give you a pat on the back.
