To the person who says they are newish: GA had a massive layoff on August 26, 2020 and people are stressed about another one. Many other companies lay off workers around Thanksgiving or Christmas once the end-of-the year numbers are finished. GA ASI had exactly 1 reduction in force in its existence as a company but people are still concerned about another one.

ASI is very short on experienced workers right now. Unless the company can figure out how to not fcuk up future contract opportunities, look for layoffs around the end of the contract’s life.

Also important is emerging technology at the company. What is being done to forge ahead and innovate? Keep an eye on that part of the business.

GA never has layoffs that’s why we’re are underpaid to industry. Why would we accept lessor pay knowing that layoffs were possible? This would have every worker at GA and id--t.

GA never has layoffs

Cuts in as lot contracts or contracts aren’t renewing. But turnover at GA is extremely high… so layoffs are likely not possible due to so many people leaving voluntarily

Is this the usual time for cuts? I'm newish, so I still don't know how things work on that front.
