Mean they preach on being competitive pay but all they did is the normal US corporate garbage of a small raise so CEO can get his big bonus is honestly just garbage.
ACTUALLY it said "Most employees in North America can expect to see a salary increase between two and three percent."
It does give room for managers to give more to those they feel should get it, but would have to take away from others to do so. Nice for the morale.
Still, don't expect much in the way of a raise.
Hr sent a mail with 2% increase recommendation today :-(
Think there point is with inflation we're technically getting pay cuts not literally. Soon though they'll cut more probably then ship jobs overseas again, though current plan in support is to burn out everyone by merging teams that are not sure how to support each other's products and not hiring folks to help as there's always 15 or 20 plus calls holding for long times. Though according to whoever is running support we have the staff somehow and this isn't happening.
They are not cutting pay. The increase is the same it's been for the past 5 or more years. Yes, stocks are gone. Private companies don't have stock. Most employees didn't get stock, so the end of stocks are at the higher end, typically director and above. They have not yet figured out how they will compensate for the lack of performance based restricted stocks that were previously distributed.
Mean realistically there saying be glad you have a job still while we cash in on these bonuses for our directors and c-suite folks.
I like money.
What about replacement of stocks with cash? It is a pay cut if stocks are taken away and not compensated in cash
Stop the fear mongering. Nothing was said about stocks (they have to go away because the company is no longer public) and there was no talk of "pay cuts". Yes, buying power decreases as inflation rises, but don't say the company is cutting pay.
So no additional salary hike for those who previously owned stocks?
