Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Union leader's are worried

We all know we are NOT getting that raise, if we do our medical will be thru the roof. New rules will definetly be in the new contract. It may lead to a strike. The hardball L.F. is playing, he's going to be the winner of this game!

I think the unions have a good hand waiting to be played right now. The RR's are in trouble. It's literally all eyes on the executives at this point. Take a guess as to why the CEO is traveling the system right now? The truth is that the RR's have been playing games for way too long. They can either agree to a decent contract or watch employees disappear. The RR's can either pay a little more now, or pay a whole lot more later. The odds are really not in the RR's favor right now.

Union leaders are worried? Why? How do you and your ‘we’ know there will be no raises? The CEO is woke, the D’s are in political power, those greedy country club blue lazer wearing R’s cant stop us from getting a historic large huge raise. I dont see the problem

Let lance go jump on a all-nighter on short rest then or go fix a broken rail or inspect a train at night if his plan is to get rid of workers let him get his hands dirty. Fawk lance

This is what I was worried about, if so our whole dept. is ready to strike. Regardless, nothing will get better at this place. Manager's will have foremen doing grunt work
