My colleagues don't seem overly concerned. Although there are various speculations about layoffs, there is not much panic on my team (at least not yet). Nobody wants to worry ahead of time. What is the situation with you?I think that you should always hope for the best but be prepared for the worst case scenario.

Because there is nothing we can do
