When the employees who can be considered the worse of the worst are quitting, you get the picture of how bad things are at Citrix. None of the nepotism and cronyism hires would dream of leaving their cushy jobs where they do barely anything and get rewarded for it with promotions and raises unless things were looking utterly bleak for the entire company. And that's exactly what's been happening lately.

If companies truly looked at every single employee to decide if they're really needed, the unemployment rate would skyrocket.
There’s a LOT of managers and senior managers who literally have rolled in this cushy lifestyle where they made a LOT of money to do not a lot of work for years. Look around in Sales.
It's somewhat ironic that those who were recently promoted to Director and Senior Director are most likely to be let go. Krause knows how to quickly identify these people, based on his prior experience with good-for-nothing CA and Symantec middle managers that Broadcom inherited. They fill their days with attending meetings and outsource any real work to paid contractors and agencies. Now, there's no place to hide.
