The FAA has stated that boeing no longer has the expertise to deal with the certification requirements that they’ve had in the past. Presumably due to all the retirees and forced layoffs of the most experienced people. I guess I’ll try to outsource this to India like everything else.

When was the last time ap dev program meet a deadline? More than 2 plus decades ago, in 1995 with the 777 certification.
Will never happen again with current mismanagement and loss of so much experience.
So yep, just keep beating our suppliers into submission and paying lobbyist to bribe congress to give us a 2 year extension. Why not just remove the deadline. Why bother.
