This is one of the reasons that BDS does not win major defense contracts. They’ve proven to be unreliable and consistently like an over budget.

hyper-sonic missile's...
the technology is already proven and has been on the shelf.
we have not deployed it, so as to not disrupt the balance of power,
And to ensure our counter measures were mature enough
for production and deployment
Maneuvering hyper-sonic missile's are 80's Tech
Stopping them is 2020's Tech

The Navy failed to determine that the aerospace giant Boeing Co.
had the skills needed to build A Seagoing Vessel,
according to congressional auditors.
The Navy just put the More in the On,
what could go wrong in choosing Boeing 🤣 🤣 🤣

“These cost overruns and schedule delays are attributable, in part,
to the Navy’s decision not to require the Boeing to demonstrate
its readiness to fabricate the prototype,
as called for by leading acquisition practices,”
The Government Accountability Office said in a report released Wednesday.
More Failed Governance
in a world where everyone gets a trophy and an opportunity to
Fail Up
