This is what happens when companies base their hiring on anything other than MERIT. Give them two years and still won’t have A lick of progress to show for it. Aren’t you glad Boeing kicked out you phd engineers and paying top dollar salaries for inclusion mba specialists

The FAA used to rubber-stamp the certification paperwork from Boeing. Now they go over it with a microscope. They learned their lesson that Boeing is not honest or trustworthy. Who can blame them?

2 years of probably not enough. The max team cannot even complete the SSA which the FAA said only 10% is approved. Extrapolate that....
If it was our supplier who submitted only 10% to us, our mgmt would be calling daily yell sessions (aka mtgs) with our subs and demanding inch stone plans. Pounding our chest, threatening and demanding to compress recovery schedule by half
Seem it happen a gazillion times seeing a sub being beat into accepting unrealistic schedule
We are no longer an engineering house since 787 debacle. Just look at it, what with the tanker and now 777x behind 5+ years. Just wait till the layoff when that is certified

Yep, same corruption and gaming that led to 737Max loss of life. Nothing changes.

Boeing is pressing for another two year deadline extension. They will likely get it because they have the best corrupt politicians that money will buy on their side. Disgraceful...especially given what we now know about the corrupt Boeing company and all the people they ki---d in recent years.
