I know for a fact layoffs are beginning tonight. Most will be Friday and Monday. However the GEM is the your safe for round 1. Good luck all!

I would not hire Citrix people coming out of this. Limited tangible skills and crybaby attitudes.
Glad to see the inoperant Calderoni (aka Fred Flintstone) going away with his beloved crew of useless minions (ELT) that converted a company that was once great into a pile of frustration and dissapointment.
Hopefully this time the "restructuration" is done in a serious way... hitting the low levels while keeping multilayers of directors, under directors, under other directors is just a joke.. leave the hard working people and replace the multilayer lazy VP and Director levels...
As someone said, if they're making people come to the office Monday, that is an ideal time to let them go and collect their laptops.
Wouldn't be surprised if they had a big round of layoffs tomorrow/Monday so they can start the GEM with " We've had to make some difficult decisions, but now we can start with a fresh slate and blah blah blah"
Definitely we wouldn't be done yet, as someone else mentioned the individual BU's will have until November or so to finalize their budgets, and that could mean some additional cuts in some departments, and possible expansion into others.

Why are people acting like it's a hurricane about to hit? There are going to be layoffs, they can happen any time, and it's going to take more than one day, and it won't be over next week. There's still October and November as the BUs figure out their budgets.
