Someone needs to be held accountable. If the same leaders are left in the same seats it will only happen again. Put the orange shirts and empty suits away and put more resources on the line. If BP “cares” the heads will roll. If not, these managers should do the honorable thing and resign. This is on their hands. As Elvis said, “a little less talk and a little more action.” We need to show our investors that we mean business when it comes to safety.

Lawler has already buried plenty of bodies at Sandridge and BPX
Their response will be to blame the employees / contractors and lay them off
The executives are going to have bumper pay packages this year and will be going nowhere but their beach homes for the coming winter

Would be interesting to hear from someone from Toledo. We were always told the front line was protected but I think that misses the point when the support org is so thin. No-one should not come home from work due to organisational problems. That's 3 fatalities in the last year incl the one at the refinery in Spain. Not a good record...
