Even if it doesn't make sense to us. The longer this lasts the more people will quit. That leaves fewer people to lay off and fewer severances to pay out. They don't care what the wait is doing to us, they are counting on it being too much for some (a lot) of us to take.

Citrix management is no longer in charge. It is the PE now. I don't think this is about dragging out anything. It is a new very brutal regime and the goal is to extract as much money as possible from the business.

Agree, and do you know what ? This is the reason why they will fire ‘only’ 1000 people …
