This company really sucks. Work is being shuffled to India even in the growing areas because it is cheaper. DG is an expert at offshoring and layoffs. Big recession ahead. So many layoffs will come in high cost areas.
It’s my understanding that there was a handful of middle managers and corporate marcom folks got handed walking papers today. They kept the talent, which was a good move. Like DG said, announcing layoffs is also bad for business. As long as you keep your head down and work your tail off you’ll probably ok.
Not today, but by the end of the year.
