Thread regarding Frontier Communications Corp. layoffs

I wonder

Does anybody wonder if the new executives know what its like for the bottom personnel? Do you think they believe the managers in-between us and them, you know the ones blaming everyone else but themselves?

Frontier in Florida is losing ground to competition from Hotwire and altice. Hotwire picked up 30,000 homes and businesses in between northport and Venice. Sm--k in the middle of frontier territory offering tv internet and phones all on their own fiber cables. The management here is failing miserably. Not to mention altice laying hundreds of miles in the Tampa area offering the same services. The Florida market is getting smaller and smaller right under Fronteir’s managers noses. Let’s see what nick does. Crickets most likely.

Do you think our execs were born straight in to senior jobs? Or did they work their way up through the ranks from the most junior role over many years? If the latter they will know exactly what it's like at more junior levels. I for one actually know the answer to this question......

Well, I have another question for you that you know but refuse to answer. Do you think when these executives were at the junior roles of those other companies those other companies were rated so poorly in every aspect of customer service, like Frontier is? Where its like every other dept is your enemy? I think not. Please stop trying to act like Frontier is normal. Whats going on here is ridiculous.

Yes, worse in fact. But they put it right.....

Par for the course, no one that has ever run this company has had any concern for the little guy, not Maggie, not Dan, not Bernie, and certainly not Nick. The mission of each, squeeze as much money out of it as you can then bail

Nick and everyone else making millions a year don't care about anyone else but their pockets which is why their not leaders they are bosses. They are bs bosses. Leaders and leadership is something this company doesn't have.

FTR is fibering up in many areas while at the same time running on the leanest headcount possible. They know full well the current number of employees have NO chance of keeping up with the workload.

I think there's gonna be a sale/merger in the not too distant future. FTR has no interest in hiring more new employees in the meantime. Might as well run on a shoestring budget until they can dump us off to yet ANOTHER company foolish enough to take the bait.

I agree about that workload its borderline unethicalwhat theyre doing and either their waiting to hire until they lay off these Dir and VPs and close some call centers or just like you said something is getting sold off.

The purpose for hiring new VPs and Directors might be a sign that the old VPs and Dir are about to go. That will be a good thing.

Doubtful. But still doesn't explain laying off reps with all contractors and the fluffy employment numbers to look like we are expanding. Actually, considering the insulting "raise" we were given dies explain all that. More money for upper management.

No one cares. If they seriously cared, they wouldn't lay off 50 regular workers, hire some contracts and hire a fancy Dir or vip.
