Just when I think that it can't get any worse here, more bad news like the new multiplier arrives. I honestly wonder if they are aware of how extremely demotivated the employees are and that the company is just lucky that there are still a few talented people here? I get the impression that they hate us.

What part of fitting performance ratings to the curve don't you understand?
Doesn't matter how well you did, only 2% get exceptional, 5% high performance, 83% "successful performance" 5% needs improvement, 5% unsatisfactory performance.
I like the change. HR can't force my leader to give me a lower rating than I deserve. AND you can get a much higher multiplier. Time to suck up to your leader!!
