LTR in Receiving upgrades to auto processing. The foolish process of printing tally sheets and watching a lazy Back End Clerk process for HOURS has finally come to an end. All that time WASTED, inputting silly B/L numbers and endless “N/A”, it was all so pointless and I called it out long ago. Question now: what becomes of the BE Clerk? Not much left to do in that chair.

The back end receiving clerk is a great job to have. I think the only type of skill you need is to be a nasty condescending person. Who basically sits on there brains all day and only does whatever they feel like doing which ,believe me, is not much. I think they take great joy in not inputting newly received product until they are good and ready. Which could be days later.
Our BE Clerk just ki--s all that time going thru paperwork acting as if really busy. Such a joke.
At night we still have to print tally sheets and process cross docks and soe orders. My backend clerk reviews our paperwork still. We haven’t lost anyone yet.

Just the words "back end" doesnt really paint a flattering image.
You people have no idea how much work was/is involved with a good BE clerk. Here's just a sample of the typical workload: Phone calls, filing, and yes processing. ALL OFR! Buybacks, rtms, Packing/shipping product, bin audits, hazmat, unloading trucks, dealing with problem/shortage shipments, trash, helping with supplies, etc.
The back end clerk at my store has never worked a day in her 18 years at Lowe’s store manager pulled her in the office and told her she’s gonna have to go to flooring that her position is being eliminated good luck I’ve been watching her sit back there and sleep for for years I guess now she’ll have to decide to either work or go somewhere else 😂
Our sniveling pathetic worm of an SM always needs an errand person to fetch his lunch or cigarettes
More time now to file their nails and talk to their boyfriends. Oh wait…they already do that.
It was a sweet job until they combined it with RTM. I'm just a worthless, part-time receiver/stocker, but I actually feel bad for the back end clerk at my store.
They can go to the pesticides and drink some and end their worthless lives ahhahaha goodbye BE Clerk
