The bell ringing and marketing hype was a stunning admission on how late Teradata is to Cloud. AWS is 16 years old, and Snowflake over a decade. To finally come out and publicly celebrate basic cloud capability like elasticity in 2022 is baffling. It also leaves companies who have legacy Vantage feeling like they made a huge mistake so it will hasten their move to a real cloud-native cloud service like Databricks or Snowflake. #CloudLastTDC

So true. TDC is playing checkers when all their competitors are playing chess. And they are not even good at checkers.
