Dear TGS HR, you are likely mixing up the surname “Fu-k”, which is one of an employee of German etymology, with the word “fu---d”, which is a descriptive term.

This is TGS HR. We need some help sorting out severance. We’re a bit confused because there are about a dozen ex-Ion employees who share the same last names, though their first names are different. Our VP thought this might be evidence of nepotism, but the HR staff has bet the ‘surely not’ in our office pool.
Any ideas welcomed!

Services ‘strategic view’ has a duration of one (monthly meeting) to three (quarterly reporting) months. One good thing that can be said a about it is its efficiency. ‘Garbage’ will be soon found, and dumped. Its not an operator with assets.

playing games. In an enron type move, it is said that a former CEO, Brian Hanson, will return to ‘bring the assets to maximal performance’ and promises to ‘turn the geophysical services industry upside down’. It is not clear what that might mean for an industry that is already upside down.
The website still works but there is no current information available. Is this company still in business?

I cannot find any current news about Ion Geophysical or the stock. Everything has gone dark. Pretty strange.
There is talk going around that it is in some financial trouble.
