Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Possible- a failed experience for our customers

Just getting feedback on several customers that attended the possible event last week and had 1:1's with some of the ELT. One has said never to bring KB in front of them again. He missed the point and is obviously inexperienced when meeting or dealing with customers. MH was about as interesting as watching cat videos on YT for hours on end. Simply no charisma. JW was missing in action and was more than likely busy with her personal makeup artist that was in tow with her. Only shining light was TC was well received by customers. He gets it. But overall rather disappointing to have ELT's of this calibre attend the event and simply fail at such a crucial time.

Couple typos in my last post about new logos - playing small ball* like SF and under supported with dedicated SA/IC’s who are NOT* incentivized enough to get deals over the line. I work in sales not marketing bud. Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty to complain about. Losing sucks enough, though, so I try to look on the bright side.

Technically, we actually are beginning to close many more new logos compared to years past. The momentum is building. It’s a different sale playing/starting with small small like SF. There’s a lot of operational delays and team is under supported with dedicated SA/IC’s who are incentivized enough to push through the sales cycle and get creative. We’ll get there though. New logo closed this quarter is a household name you’ll be excited to hear about.

Should be called Impossible since no new customer will buy Teradata over Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, or Synapse. Why would they?

Definitely don't think we're talking APJ KB so must be a different person

KB, so APJ? He has been stellar in my accounts, so not sure if this is the same KB? And MH should demonstrate stability and reliability - not pomp and circumstance. Are you sure you have the right people and, of so, did we set the leaders up for success according to their role?

JW has a makeup artist on her world tour. Seriously??? Where my laughing emoji....

KB- I actually had to look up and figure out who that was in the chain. What a shame for your customer to get someone like that in front of them. The flake brigade should be paying him a commission for pushing customers their way.
