Does anyone have 2 full time jobs without employers knowledge?

heart that too.
yes, because without prior permission, work done for the second company can become property of the first company.
heard a rumor they're doing background checks on current employees for this very reason.
Depends on how you define significance. If you drink Dell Kool aid and work 70 hour weeks then you should reconsider your position. Dell does not care about you. Work I do has significant impact. I just don't need to work double time to get my stuff done.
you must not do anything of any significance then.
Work from home, two remote setups in my home office. Two jobs in a ten hour day. Easy as long as you're available for all meetings.
I work at Dell and have second job. Just don't tell Dell.
it's not dishonest when you are on salary base and get the job done on time quickly. of course there are nights that you absolutely have to burn the midnight candles and they are not paying you anymore
Who cares if its dishonest.Once the work for Dell is done who cares????
Pretty dishonest. If you are paid to work 9-5 you should work 9-5. If your 2nd job is outside that timeframe then fine. I'm not HR btw - I'm field storage sales.
Just look for one on another "cost", so your daily stand ups will not overlap
watch out...if you make more than 400,000, you'll be the target of the increased tax rate...LOL
I do have 2nd job. One as a Dell quietly quitting engineer and the other I am working at a big X company. It's 1 hour for Dell and 7 hours for X. Two laptops side by side, Dell boss ping via MS Team on the Latitude and X boss ping via Slack on the MAC. Both bosses are happy that things are moving forward, and life is good with double pay for self! Only uncle Sam knows what's going on during tax season.
who said anything about VPN?
Only an id--t would get a second job and load vpn software onto a Dell laptop and then use that laptop to vpn into company #2.
Dell is watching, scanning remote laptops at home 24x7
so if you develop anything on a dell laptop for another company, it can be considered property of dell. You may be putting your second company in a bad situation in that case. Not sure about patents but you best make sure.
I had 2 jobs the last yr and a half I worked at Dell. No accountability, after almost 2 years I left. Go for it, if you like the 2nd job put your heart and soul into it and wait for the d-mb ba----ds to figure it out. Then quit.
Nice try HR. No we are shaking in our boots worried about the next layoff.
why...watcha got cooking?
I have had 2 jobs for a long time, that is what success looks like while others party and do worthless things I look for opps and created value for my family and self.
I don't have a 2nd job but with out my manager knowing I'm quiet quitting.
That 1 hr a day working from home is exhausting.
